Where do we start?, The year of 94. Right about the time O.J. simpson murdered his cheating wife. I was fourteen years old at the time. My best freind Bryce had mentioned and showed me a flyer to A big "rave" that waz called FUNKY TECHNO TRIBE. I had been to some under ground techno party's in the inland impire preavious to this, so I had A rough feeling of what it might be like. Being only fourteen, the both of us,we of coarse had no jobs, and no means of transportation.
Bryce lived in A little house with his dad,and at the time I was living with my family in A dirty ass trailer. We were poor!! At this same time I was hanging out with A group of kids who were stealing car's, and robbing houses. Being so poor this was the easyest way I could make some money, so I did. The city we lived in was about an hour and a half outside L.A. I remember not being able to find A ride to the party, but deciding to jump the metro link, whitch is A train that runs through most of so-cal. but does not run sunday's. This obiously left us with the dalema of not having a ride home, but it never seemed to bother us as crazy as that seems. After A good walk, A bus ride, and A hop on the subway we were finaly getting close!! The grand olimpic oditorium.Down town los Angeles. The brightest group of people I'v ever seen!! The sun had just gone down, and the freaks were coming out!! I would say there was already about A thousand kids waiting to get in,filling the streets and side walks. We had got some dancing skeleton tabs which we took right away, I would say about ten minutes later I had to sit down, and I knew it was gunna be a long night from that point!! Somehow we made it to the front of the line right before they opened the gate. Walking in I felt like A kid at willie wanka's. The first thing I noticed was this huge fucking T.P. that probably fit 30 people or so, it was crazy, they had people makin smoothies up in this thing. We sat down and completed A circle with some awsome kids who had some of the best chronic I had seen. One called "chrome" It was the bomb!!! Who knows how long we sat in that thing, but when we decited to go out side we lifted up the cloth that was hanging and it looked like some kind of weird portal or some shit. I was in a whole different world!! This shit was huge! awsume soud setup with tropical plants set up all around the system, wish I had pic's!! Crazy good energy all over, phat fuckin old school DJ dan!! Three thousand crazy kids, and our under age trippin asses. Well I think that's about how it started, or how I saw it at least. **
