For the night he will be playing a " DNB Classics" set.
MC Questionmark
In April of 1991, the fateful visit to what has now become an institution and one of the starting places of the drum 'n' bass scene was made. Sunday Roast was held one a Sunday afternoon from noon 'til six pm, in time to get you home for Sunday dinner. Question Mark made his first pilgrimage to the event at its original location in Linford Studios. It was here that he first heard the sounds of MCing through veteran MC, Moose. There was an immediate connection to this medium for Question Mark. It was the musical direction he was leaning towards the strongest.
At Sunday Roast was the first time he heard drum 'n' bass heavy hitters, Fabio, Grooverider, Jumping Jack Frost, DJ Ron, among others. The Jungle Fever dances at the Edge Club in Coventry, England were another source for inspiration. Pirate radio stations fueled the new fascination even more. Taping programs from these stations and bringing them back to Los Angeles, Question Mark took the sounds of MC Det, Randall, Kool FM everywhere with him. His friends kept him supplied with fresh music by sending him tapes regularly.
X1LE formerly DJX (Sadistik Circus CEO) (M.I.A. Chicago ) (Combat Records) M.I.A. Studios - Partner) - Chicago

Born in Hawaii and raised on the streets of Chi Town, X1LE, AKA Cameron Stansberry, started his musical journey when he was 11, when he was given a drum kit by his parents. It was at this moment that Cameron knew he wanted to be part of something bigger.

He first became interested in the electronic music scene in 1987. In 1988, aged 14, he bought his first set of turntables. At the age of 17, he was bouncing around the Chi Town scene as a freestyle/house dj. In the late 90’s he heard his first DnB track and was hooked immediately. He performed various warm up sets at house parties all over before the doors opened in clubs in Chicago, Milwaukee and South Florida, opening for major names such as Dieselboy, Goldie, Dara, Gein, Arsenic, Limewax and many more. In 2006 he joined forces with M.I.A. Chicago, at that time a small group of like minded dj’s trying to bring DnB to Chicago, and It was after this point when he started booking gigs at large events such as WMC and DEMF.
Xile is a fighter and since 2006 has been locked in the studio perfecting his craft.Suffice to say, the Drum and Bass scene should be expecting big things from X1LE in 2012.
Dj/Producer, co-founder MIA dnb collective, owner Combat Records USA. M1D1 first started djing in 1993 and has performed at countless underground parties and full scale raves in Chicago's late 90's rave scene. Working with jungle vet R.P. Smack/RipeProductions, M1D1 continued to bring his music into the new millennium and by 1999 he had started writing his own tunes. In 2004 he started his own DNB label, Combat Records, and with over 40+ releases to date Combat Records is home to many M1D1 releases and also to many great dnb artists worldwide. In 2006, alongside Alfonz DeLaMota, M1D1 co-founded the M.I.A. Dj Collective, a nationwide drum and bass dj collective. With residences all over the US, the M.I.A. is proving to be a strong force in the stateside DNB movement today. Be it djing out of town, here in Chicago at Smartbar, or running the system at the rave, for M1D1 DNB is a way of life, and he will stop at nothing to see the M.I.A. and drum and bass reach its highest potential.
Babel & Type-R
Babel started going to parties where EDM was played predominately in the late 90's. The first thing that he noticed was the artist , and how the music captivated the crowd. In 1998 he decided to purchase his first mixer and turntables. First starting with breaks and electro trying to create a unique blend of Detroit Electro and the west coast funky desert breaks. After a year he discovered Jungle when a friend suggested a record store in Ann Arbor called Dubplate Pressure. In 1999 Babel released a "Junkyard" Hip-Hop/Jungle fusion mix under dj Alias on Silent Records and was distributed through Long Range. The Devil May Care mix cd opened up consistent bookings within the Hip-Hop community for Babel. He was performed with artist such as Binary Star, Slum Village, Common Sense ( Common), Paradime, D12 and hosted the second room to the 99 Detroit Blaze Battles. In 99 Babel, Bobo, and dj Jared created The Interchangeable Turntable Oddities one of few turntablist bands in Michigan at the time.
Moving back to Arizona in 2008 he is now with the state-side Drum and Bass Collective known as M.I.A. (Murda In America) HipStep/Zuluz and working with some of todays top DnB/ Jungle producers and dj's around such as M1D1, Danny the WildChild, General Malice, Fonz De LaMota, Type-R, and more. In the year 2012 Babel has a few new releases coming out on Combat Records and Dub Chamber Records and as always mixes year round!!!!!!!!

Long-time Reggae & Ragga-Jungle Veteran Type-R (M.I.A., Fresh Pressed Sound) has been smashing dancehalls since the age of 14. With a killer selection of original tunes/classics/& big name reggae/dancehall dubplate voicings is definitely a set you do not want to miss.
