Dissonance In Design
Dissonance In Design
Cutting their respective metal teeth at the not-so-tender ages of 12 and 14, DISSONANCE in DESIGN's (formerly Morbus Deus) core members re-invented themselves and evolved into a progressive/melodic/technical metal wrecking ball. The band recently added accomplished front-man Sam Johnson and bludgeoning bassist Evan Hertzog (both ex-Sunday Massacre), as well as shredder Vance Valenzuela (Vale of Pnath) to their already concussive attack.

Siphoning inspiration from such artists as Veil of Maya, The Faceless, Protest the Hero, Between the Buried and Me, Within the Ruins, Animals as Leaders, and many others, DISSONANCE in DESIGN offers up an uncompromising amalgam of singular riffs and hypnotic grooves that will appeal to even the most discerning Metal palates. Even those not-so-familiar with the metal genre will find the music accessible, and infectious.

These young men employ an unrivaled strategy when creating their melodic mayhem: write songs that are far beyond their physical talents and capabilties, and practice/play them until they become an integral part of the DiD sonic arsenal. Technically precise execution, combined with visceral musical themes/lyrics translate to a commanding stage presence that leaves audiences transfixed... and wanting more.

Some intrinsic subject matter includes disdain for the government, self-introspection/healing, meaningful personal experiences, and the bane of worldwide religion. Some have gone so far as to label DISSONANCE in DESIGN as "Inspirational Metal"...

Ultimately, it's all about the music itself...so there will be no acquiescing to the mundane and contrived. Expect the unique...and the unexpected...
Cryogen
Cryogen
From the mountains of Colorado, the melodic juggernaut CRYOGEN has been bashing out European-influenced American death metal since 2004. CRYOGEN has gone through 5 drummers in their 5 year existence, but they haven't let that slow them down. They are constantly seeking the path of perfection whether they are in front of a crowd or in the studio. On stage they wear down picks and break their necks to get the crowd going, whether it's a crowd of 30 or 300. CRYOGEN has created a sonic beast that is simultaneously technical and memorable and it's eying your mom. You've heard Meshuggah, Death, In Flames, Dark Tranquillity, Cannibal Corpse, Nile, Decapitated, etc. – but you haven't heard their collective bastard child.

Having released 'Premonition' in 2005 and the critically acclaimed 'This Nightmare' in 2007, CRYOGEN is gearing up for the release of their new 6 song EP 'Psalms of Deceit', recorded at MindCycle Studios by Ryan Conner (lead vox, rhythm guitar) and mastered by Alan Douches (Nile, Shadows Fall, Hate Eternal, God Forbid).

CRYOGEN recently made an appearance at the 2008 Indianapolis Metalfest (feat. Divine Heresy, Arsis, The Absence, Threat Signal, and more) and was featured at the 2007 Milwaukee Metalfest (feat. God Forbid, Skinlab, Thy Will Be Done, Flatline, and more). Tour stops in WY, KS, UT, NE, OH, IN, IL, and WI as well as innumerable Colorado dates have cemented their reputation as a brutal live act.

CRYOGEN has been featured in various print magazines, including Brave Words and Bloody Knuckles, Metal Maniacs, and Pit. They have also been featured on numerous web review and publication sites receiving praise from the metal underground both nationally and internationally. CRYOGEN is currently endorsed by Madison Amps.
Silencer
Silencer
Formed in 1998, Colorado's Silencer have progressed their metal journey internationally for well over a decade with a total of eight releases and self powered touring throughout the US. The only constant is progression, as the band is set to record their fifth full studio release in the summer of 2011 with live dates to immediately follow.
Empyrean Eclipse
Empyrean Eclipse
EMPYREAN ECLIPSE was formed in the spring of 2004 by guitarist Ryan Lockwood,Roger Daniels, and Drummer Stephen Handler.

Galloping guitars and speedy power drums come at you like blitzkrieg. Empyrean Eclipse performs its brand of death metal with such speed and precision it's a guarantee that every member of the group has extremely strong forearms.
